EFI Attachments is a privately owned company that was formed in 2001. The founder- Jim Foley, grew up in Northern Alberta, and from a young age was working in civil and oil field construction.

Jim operated his own excavation company in the Canadian Rockies in the 1990’s-2000’s. His need for high quality attachments strong enough to withstand the harsh ground conditions inspired him to design and build his own attachments.

The first EFI fabrication shop opened in Central Alberta in 2001. This initial shop was 1200 sq ft. From the beginning, Jim chose to exclusively use high tensile steels for all EFI products, and began to develop a unique method of manufacturing that enhanced speed and precision of the build process.

Soon EFI became recognized in the industry for innovative designs, and attachments that would outlast the competition. Leading to receiving large orders from local OEM dealers, fulfilling their need for compact excavator attachments.

From 2005-2014, EFI grew from 9000 to 16000 sq ft, and in 2014, purchased our current 74000 sq ft facility.

During these years, we have continually refined our processes and added state of the art steel processing machinery. We have become a trusted name in the industry to build high quality products.

Our 74,000 square-foot facility located in Innisfail, Alberta Canada, houses state of the art steel processing and manufacturing equipment.

We are experts in manufacturing specialty steel products, with unique and improved fabrication methods. From cutting and hydraulics to paint, we have full in-house capabilities.
